Within the scope of its transition to an international organization operating across the German-speaking regions of Europe, Garmin has paid closer attention to the areas of cost and efficiency. At the beginning of 2016, the budget for the areas of promotion, merchandising and training as well as events and exhibitions was tendered as part of a pitch for the DACH region, in order to enable these service-spanning areas to be covered centrally by one agency. We are that agency.
In order to be able to guarantee everything from a single source for campaign implementation, we created our own DACH-wide KAM structure, which enabled us to control the comprehensive project centrally. Despite the cross-service approach, we can offer a main contact person who is available to the customer at all times to answer any questions.
First-class product placement in retailers as well as shop floor optimization in CE and sports retailers are among our most important tasks in our work for Garmin. In order to ensure the successful introduction of new products and series, a specialized POS Operator team is deployed for our client. This team also assists with the successful introduction of new products or series and takes over the training of the sales personnel.
Furthermore, more than 150 sporty brand ambassadors are working for our client within the scope of our DACH-wide sales promotion, representing Garmin as a brand with authenticity, creating brand experiences, and conveying an active attitude towards life. The main goal here is to gain new customers for Garmin products such as the fitness tracker and the navigation devices.
In order to be able to present itself and its own products in a targeted manner within an authentic environment, Garmin also appears time and again as a partner at important sporting events and trade fairs. For events like this, we handle the planning, organization, and execution, as well as many other services.
